
Hey, my name is Mafalda but my friends call me Maffy!
I’m the heart behind MFR (my initials) and the endless details that make weddings truly unforgettable.
Weddings have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I was that little girl who thought she already knew the dress, the flowers, and even the month she’d get married (though a lot of that has changed with time!). What never changed was my love for creating meaningful, beautiful moments. From childhood birthdays to family holiday dinners, I always found joy in planning events that wowed people and made them feel celebrated. For me, what stresses others out has always been what excites me most.
That passion only grew stronger when I planned my own wedding—a destination wedding in Portugal—while living in New Jersey. Every single detail, every decision, every moment was carefully thought out, and it wasn’t just exciting—it felt like a dream coming to life. The best part? Seeing our guests experience something unforgettable and knowing I had created that atmosphere. That was my big “this is what I’m meant to do” moment.
So, in January 2025, my (very American, non-Portuguese-speaking) husband and I decided to take a leap. We packed up our life in New Jersey, microchipped our dogs for their very first 7-hour flight, and moved 3,375 miles across the ocean to Lisbon. Portugal has always been in my heart—my parents are Portuguese, and I grew up visiting every year until it became my happy place. Now it’s my forever home, and I get to share it with couples from all over the world.
MFR Endless Details was born out of that story: my passion for weddings, my love for Portugal, and my belief that what makes a wedding magical is all the endless details that come together seamlessly. I specialize in luxury weddings, but for me, “luxury” is more than just sparkle—it’s about thoughtfulness, uniqueness, and the kind of effortless beauty that stays with you long after the last song plays.

The Office Managers: Benji & Addie
Every great planner needs a solid support team — and around here, that’s Benji and Addie.
They take their roles as office managers very seriously: greeting every guest with enthusiasm, overseeing snack breaks, and reminding me when it’s time to step away from the laptop for a walk.
Between naps and tail wags, they bring the perfect mix of calm and chaos to my workdays — keeping the atmosphere joyful and reminding me that the best moments in life are the simple, happy ones.
They may not handle timelines or emails, but they definitely manage the vibes around here.
